Yaa Serwaa Somuah is a native of Ghana. She is a Teacher, Writer and a Presenter of radio program for children with a first degree in Agriculture Education from the University of Education, Wenniba-Ghana. She likes writing, speaking in churches and women groups to share her testimonies. She now lives and works in Canada.
She was born in the Eastern part of Ghana and has taught in many schools and churches in Ghana. Back in Ghana She also worked as a Producer and Presenter of women and children magazine programs on radio. She wrote short drama and poems for Centre for National Culture-Eastern Region.
Her passion to work with children has taken her on a world tour from Ghana through the island of Cyprus to the planes of Canada. Her writing began at an early age of sixteen which is the only thing that comes naturally though still have a long way to perfecting most of the materials she write.
'The Lord has inspired me to declare openly my past mistakes in the book, Celebrating God, in order to use the experience to reach out to others as His holy vessel'. He is setting her apart to bring to you an inspired message that will turn your mourning into dancing.
Her passion to work with children means her main motive is to put a smile on the lips of children The abusive home where she grew up from has curved in her a burning desire to work to save children. A young girl was a victim of war through her a noble warrior in the person of Naaman was healed of leprosy. Joseph was a victim of envy through that the world was saved from famine which lasted for seven years. Jesus was crucified on the cross which apparently signifies victory of evil over good. Over two thousand years since the resurrection of Christ still reigns, it has released myriads of souls from the bondage of sin of which Yaa Serwaa Somuah is one of them. Her 'dysfunctional' home has brought all that she is today.
It is believed every one has been given an assignment to complete as we journey through life. The experiences we go through growing up are mine fields for fulfilling our divine purposes in life. In her case the painful childhood life has become the richest source where she draws inspiration from to encourage others.
She has now dedicated her life to work to save children by reaching out to the youth, mothers and everyone who will be interested to make use of this experience.
